I have lived ten years in Ethiopia (71-75, 79-83, 85-87) . These experiences have helped me develop skills to adjust to new cultures and made me appreciate cross-cultural relationships and encounters.

I worked 3 months in a rural hospital of Southern Ethiopia (2001). This even more increased my wish to work in Africa.

I worked 6 months at Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm, Sweden (2001-02), to improve my neurosurgical skills.
